Ln.Walter Menezes was the Chief Guest of the program. Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Leslie C D’Souza was the president of the program. Mr. Nobert Machado, President of Alumni Association, Mr. Melwyn Arahna, Vice President, Shirva Parish Church Council, Mr. Charles Mohan Noronha, President of Lions Club Shirva, Mr. Julain Rodrigus, Mr. Irwyn D’souza, Mr. Peter Corda, Mr. Denis Mathias and members of various associations were present in the program. Pre University College Principal Mr. Jayashankar K welcomed the guests. At this 79th Independence Day the flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest, Ln. Walter Menezes and he memorized the sacrifices of freedom fighters. Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Leslie C D’Souza addressed the students and explored the colours in our national flag, white for peace, saffron (Kesari) for courage and scarifies and green for growth. He also gave a call to adopt these features in our life. TALENTS DAY CELEBERATION 2025August 12, 2025UncategorizedThe program was successfully conducted on 26th July 2025 at Saude Sabha Bhavan with the objective of providing a platform for the disclosure the talents of students. The event began with a prayer. Mr. Jayashankara K, Principal welcomed the gathering. The Golden Jubile Sovenior “Golden Chronicles” was released by the Correspondent V. Rev. Fr. Dr. Leslie C D’souza and he appreciated the editorial committee. He explained about the role played by each group of an educational institute, i.e students, parents, faculty members and the management and also congratulated them. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Maria Jacinta Furtado. INVESTITURE CEREMONY AND FRESHER’S DAYJuly 8, 2025UncategorizedThe program for the new academic year was successfully conducted on 28th June 2025 at Saude Sabha Bhavan with the objective of welcoming the newly admitted students and providing them with an overview of the institutions values. The event begins with an invocational welcome dance. Mr Jayashankara K Principal welcomed the gathering who emphasized the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, discipline and holistic development followed by lightning of the lamp to mark an auspicious beginning. The college council members solemnly took the oath promising to uphold the values and responsibilities entrusted to them.
