The program was conducted on 4th July 2026 at Saude Sabha Bhavan with the objective of welcoming the newly admitted students and providing them with an overview of the institution values. Mr. K R Patkar, President, St. Mary’s Alumni Association and Mr. Julian Rodrigues, Vice President, Parish Pastoral Council, Shirva were the chief guests.
The program was presided by Rev. Fr. Charles Menezes, Correspondent, St. Mary’s PU College, Shirva.
Mr Jayashankara K, Principal welcomed the gathering.
The student council was symbolically inaugurated by the chief guest Mr. K R Patkar.
The college council members took the oath promising to uphold the values and responsibilities entrusted to them.
The chief guest addressed the gathering with an inspiring note. He memorized the student life and emphasized the values that an student should have during their studies.
The correspondent Rev. Fr. Charles Menezes congratulated the council members and graced with best wishes.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Royston Quadros, Lecturer in Commerce.
Mrs. Sushmitha Moolya, Lecturer in Commerce compered the program.
The program was followed by cultural activities by the students.
